The history of the Wieserhof

First mentioned in around 1160 as the “Hof an den Wiesen” (Farm by the Meadows). In around 1760 the property passed from the possession of the local diocese into the private ownership of Sebastian Weissteiner. In 1889 Johann Huber acquired the estate, which has remained in the hands of the family ever since. The property includes forests, meadows and a private alp, Gampisalm.
